Santa's Grotto
No Christmas would be complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto! Our unique experience starts with a walk through an enchanted and magical Christmas scene guided by Santa’s friendly elves. During the experience children will create their own reindeer food mix, ready for sprinkling on the lawn on Christmas Eve and learn a song ready to ‘sing along with Santa'. Upon reaching Santa’s living room, prepare to be entertained with magical fairytale stories which are sure to delight and amuse both adults and children alike.The whole family can enjoy a tasty treat before it’s time for a ‘sing song’... do you remember the words? No Grotto experience would be complete without a wonderful Christmas gift and a little something for all the family to enjoy. Spaces are limited, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Movember Night
It's a celebration of all things MO, everyone is welcome to check out the results of a months growth, we're planning a few MO related refreshments (MOjitos!) and various prizes for the best MO's as voted by a select committee of hair growth experts (ish), following a few photos and a chat about the chances of keeping our new found winter lip blankets. All followed with an evening of live bands and rock dj's.....and we'll try and raise a bit more cash too! Please invite anyone else taking part, or anyone you think fancies a bit of a night out for a great cause!
Chris Addison –The Time is Now, Again
Fresh from The Thick of It, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You and his sell-out 2010 tour, Chris Addison, the man who put the ‘Chris Addison’ into, “I see Chris Addison is touring again,” is touring again. He’s written a brand new show, The Time Is Now, Again. Chris will also be hosting the brand new comedy showcase ‘ Show & Tell’ coming to Channel 4 this autumn. “Exquisite, super-smart solo show … gloriously funny” Time Out
Heath String Quartet
Since their formation in 2002, the Quartet has emerged as one of this country's finest young ensembles, having won a host of awards and given concerts throughout the UK and abroad. They perform Beethoven's terse Op 95 quartet, Janacek's intensely emotional First (inspired by a Tolstoy novella) and Schubert's wistfully lyrical A minor.
