Millennium Country Park Bioblitz!!
Join The Marston Vale Trust and The Bedfordshire Natural History Society for 24 hours of wildlife fun. Local experts will be recording everything that flys, jumps, swims, crawls, hops, slithers and scurries in this mass wildlife recording day. There will be a whole host of guided walks to get involved in from moths to butterlies and birds to dragonflies. For daytime walks, no booking required. Evening moth trapping is strictly booking only. Saturday 1.00pm Dragonflies and Damselflies 2.30pm Bumblebees 2.30pm Butterflies 4.00pm Birds 9.30pm Moth trapping Sunday 8am Bird ringing demonstration 10am Hoverflies
Marston Vale Walk 2012
Join us on our brand new walk through ancient woodland, past farms and across grassy banks. Choose between a five or 13 mile walk, starting and finishing at The Forest Centre of Marston Value, Millenium Country Park.
Open Churches Sunday
Many historic Churches in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire will be open on Sunday 24 June 2012 to welcome visitors of all ages.
