Music At Lunchtime - Summer Term 2012
A superb series of concerts performed in the Recital Hall of Bedford's Music School. A chance to enjoy a diverse selection of works in beautiful surroundings.
Frankenstein
Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant and ambitious young student, discovers the secret of creating life. But elation and triumph are replaced by horror when the monstrousity of his creation is finally revealed. Abandoned, the Creature is left to a world that fears and rejects him, and soon his innocence turns to misery - and a murderous desire for revenge. One of the greatest Gothic horror stories of all time, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, in a vigorous adpatation by Patrick Sandford, will be performed by Y6, 7 and 8 pupils from Bedford Prep School and Bedford Girl's School.
